Yes, I am from India, and yes, there are people like me in China, actually China was part of India long long back like other neighbouring countries and so we all look same. Look even you look like Indian, even though you are in Australia, don't know how come same people ;). May be Australia was also part of Indian continent before it swim away so far ;( and carried you and your family. Do you miss us all?
